Hey everyone I have recently built my own Nas for now I have mainly used it for Plex but I want to use it for a bit more than that, I thought that having all my pictures in one place would be nice (for now they are decidedin 2 different Google account).

I want to go away from using Google Fotos beacouse they don't offer the unlimited storage anymore, not even for my pixel.

Also are there any good self hosted alternatiefs to do everything Google Fotos did/ does, I like the map featur for example?

Thanks for the time and feedback.

Google Photos alternative is the literal example in the subreddit sidebar, and this gets asked so often.

Why dont you simply search this sub?

to be fair to the OP, if you're viewing reddit with the mobile app there is no sidebar unless you happen to click the 3 dots top-right then do some reading, so I can see how that can be missed.

it's a generous reading i know, but so be it

Thats not a good excuse imo. And even if ignoring the sidebar, nothing is stopping someone from simply searching "google photos" in the sub and find tons of discussions about this.

i know i know.. just trying to be forgiving about it
