As someone with a broken anxiety response, you could be a gentle sloth and still startle me
As a tall person, I quiet my footsteps when approaching someone because I get a kick out of startling people.
My favorite is when I enter a room as someone who was in there alone is walking away from the door, so that by the time they reach the other side and turn around, I'm right behind them.
I do the same! I feel seen friend.
Except most people aren't self-aware enough to know they're disturbing you.
People should walk into traffic more
