Maybe, but Mbonambi refused to shake hands after the match and these two do have history, e.g. here from November at Twickenham:

All I am saying is that we don’t really is that word. If he did it would be very deliberate as he would need to remember or plan to use it in that way. Or he could have picked it up in the URC while touring over there.
I just think the easiest explanation is the language and misinterpretation of it.
Not very sportsmanlike from him to refuse to shake hands if that is true.
I do think you're right and this is probably a press-fuelled nothing story. Curry was very low key about it (briefly mentioned it to the ref and wouldn't talk about it after the game) and it's most likely there's no-one in the wrong, aside from those responsible in the press and the social media morons abusing everyone involved.
The shaking hands thing I got from the news reports so I can't be sure on that point.
