Genuine question, since I haven't followed the Eredivisie in a while.

How is this even possible?

I went to see a few matches 10 years ago in Utrecht and Rotterdam and the quality of small teams was shockingly bad.

I remember the nr 10 from VVV had a beer belly, it was that bad.

The quality of small teams increased that much?
