Making an informed purchase is important.

When looking for these products, they never specify what their contents are. Yet, I am a very heavy suspicion they are just isopropyl alcohol.

No, alcohol is pretty likely to damage the coating on your display. You're not far off though. They're basically just water.

Just use distilled water. You can get it from the store and put it in a spray bottle if that makes it easier to use.
