And here I, a public employee, have to take an ethics course each year and cannot accept gifts over $50 (sorry, am American).

The part they leave off is you can't accept gifts over $50 or under $10,000, after that it becomes lobbying so that's all fine

In the private sector the fuckers make every damn line staff down to the new janitorial intern take a course on insider trading ...as if anyone but the fucking executive suite and board of directors has the money to buy the company's stock in the first place, and secondly NONE of those people are privy to market-making news. Abysmally backward.

If anybody ever offers me some money to betray the company I work for I'm 100% going to take it. What do I care, they have consistently failed to give a raise in the last 2 years

Don't. You're the underclass and not only would they go after you if they found out because you are not powerful, the courts are levered against you because, again you are not powerful.

Just put the anger into learning values skills, it's what most do. Eventually you get your reward.
