It's wild to now read a bunch of "He was never that good anyway" after all the drama/hype when the transfer got confirmed this summer.
He may not be a world class player but he's still a very good midfielder. Is it just because he didn't live up to the insane hype he got when he was a teenager?
Pretty sure he was anointed as signing of the window after his debut vs Villa... feels a long time ago, now
