Yeah, but social media is dog shit. There are equally as many people who think Israel is totally within their rights to do a full ground invasion of Gaza that everybody knows will leave a veritable pile of corpses.

Not to engage in whataboutism, just that there exist bloodthirsty whackjobs on both sides.

It’s easy to say when it doesn’t effect you. When you have hundreds of thousands of people, if not more, sharing fake news and blood libels it’s going to spill over into real life unfortunately.

Oh I know that exceedingly well. As somebody who has kept up with the QAnon movement out of simple interest it's wild the way antisemitism has changed with the times to remain pervasive.

I'm just saying it isn't exactly hard to find people on social media who think Gaza should just be bulldozed, as well. Social media can be good for gauging social feeling, but it isn't a forum known for restraint from byperbole.
