Yeah and people want 4 or 5 penalties called and reds lol. You won and you’re through. Take it and move on.

Oh well. On to the playoff

[–] Agatharchides@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I am Greek, we did not win. The stonewall penalty was the one on Brobbey.

I know, I’m Greek too, I’m talking to the Dutch supporters. Crying about lasers and wanting 20 pens called and reds.

They’re the better team, do they really need all the officiating help too in order to win? If they were really dominant, they would have scored from open play.

These teams are a lot closer than people think lol, except one won their euro 40 years ago, and the other won theirs 20 years ago.

Sorry, I thought your comment referred to me. But dominance on the day or past successes do not matter. If a refereeing decision is wrong, it's just wrong.

[–] reserveduitser@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It doesn’t matter if you have a better team and rules are rules. But at the and it was a deserved win. Good game though.

And yes those people should fuck off with those laser lights.

[–] BassForDays@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

If you ever want to be taken seriously as a league and football nation then get rid of the lasers first lmao.

These teams are a lot closer than people think lol

Are they? Greece were shit in the away game. Lost by a big margin and created next to no chances. Were shit again today. but against a side with like 11 players injured. Creating no chances while needing the win.

[–] ItsYourBoyD@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

are they?

Yeah because we’ve won something recently lol

All this yapping yet you can’t close out a tournament in modern football 🤷‍♂️, we have.

Close against the Argentines, but not quite. Close isn’t good enough.

[–] No_Presence200@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

2004 isn’t recent and doesn’t say anything about quality of the teams now. Or recently for that matter.

How embarrassing, we lost against the eventual world champions. You haven’t been good enough to even enter a tournament in almost 10 years. Pipe down

[–] ItsYourBoyD@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

2004 is a lot more recent than the 70s. Germany weren’t fielding 2 different teams in 2004. 21st century against all time greats like CR7, you know, active players.

how embarrassing

No, what’s embarrassing is being labelled some footballing super power in the top 10 and being perpetual losers for almost 50 years.

Maybe they’ll give you more pen calls in the tournament for you to win games. We’ll see you there after we beat the Georgians.

[–] No_Presence200@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

2004 is a lot more recent than the 70s.

Incredible insight. Still not recent though.

You and I have different definitions of embarrassing lmao. Good luck against the Georgians

Whens the last time youve been to a tournament

[–] ItsYourBoyD@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

When’s the last time you’ve won one? You probably weren’t even alive for it. Maybe you can watch the highlights in black and white. I enjoyed ours.
