It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

Hello, I have an REI Co-Op e1.1 e-bike. I recently found out the hard way that its current tires are too thick (2.4in (6cm) ) for a bus bike rack (those one that go in front of the bus). Is it a good idea to change those tires to a thinner standard size, or is there a reason as to why it's that thick?

One more reason front of bus bike racks are a bad idea. If you want bikes on transit, then they need to go inside.

Sorry I cannot answer your question, but as a transit advocate I feel the need to jump on this topic. If you search my history you will discover a much longer rant on the topic and why they don't work.
