~~Floatplane titles are perfectly fine.~~

~~LTT/LMG community. Brought to you by ******... Actually, no, not this time. This time it's brought to you by Lemmy, the open communities and free and open source software!~~

~~If you post videos from Youtube/LTT, please please un-clickbait the titles. (You can use the title from https://nitter.net/LTTtranslator/ but it doesn't seem to have been updated in quite some while...)~~

Would a YouTube video bot like the one on r/linustechtips be useful here? I’d love to have a go at building one and thought this would be a great place to start.

Could even be some other bot to help bring more content here/drive more traffic

Personally, I'm not a fan of bots creating posts for a community. Maybe if there was more activity on the platform, but invariably all these bot posts get like 0-1 replies and end up just flooding feeds with these empty posts.

True. Ideally it’d be the same as on Reddit where people actually discuss the video under the bot post. That’s probably less likely here due to a much smaller community on Lemmy
