Bot-kun didn't update for fall [NH] / spring [SH] and I couldn't find a thread about this series, so here I am.

I came across the manga for this a few months back and the story has grown on me. Glad to hear the anime starting off on a good note.

Ditto. The obsession of Rei over Claire is a bit weird, but once you brush it off as "otaku fan doing otaku fan things", the story gets in the right spot between slapstick comedy and serious drama.

Yeah, it took me a while to like the manga when I first started it, because of her obsessiveness.
