Local charcoal chook might cost twice as much, but maybe twice as big. And you can get chips with chicken salt there. Paid $10.50 for a 1/4 + chips today.

KFC probably about sparrow size, and makes you feel queasy after. With soggy chips. And will cost you at least twice as much.

Roast chook even at $15 will get you at least a couple of meals. I'm impressed that the supermarket chooks stay moist in the fridge. Though that makes me wonder...pumped full of something??

You can achieve the same at home if you inject the marinade which is what I expect they do
