So they don’t actually uncover what the material is made of (likely plastic), and no-one is commenting on the fact that this case is a recycling / plastic nightmare that has nothing to do with sustainability.

From Apple’s online store:

Made from durable microtwill, the material has a soft, suedelike feel. The FineWoven material was also designed with the earth in mind - it's made from 68 percent post-consumer recycled content and significantly reduces carbon emissions compared to leather.

Ah, it’s made of “post-consumer recycled content”.

I love products made of “content”.

I guess the word “plastic” has been banned by the apple marketing team.
