I've loved "Undead Murder Farce". It feels like that 2010ish BBC Sherlock Holmes meets supernatural creatures and I love it for that. Vending Machine was goofy fun but not the best show of the season for me.

"Helck" is probably my biggest miss. Went in blind and each episode felt pointless in terms of pacing or episodic resolution. The jokes weren't landing for me either, but that was me.

That is a fair take on Helck I think. If the humor doesn't connect for you, then I imagine it would feel really slow. They are going at a really slow pace story-wise and letting the humor keep things light and engaging. Take the humor away and that strategy falls apart.

Also, I have heard good things about Undead Murder Farce as the season has gone on, so I will check it out.

I've watched the 12 available episodes of Helck and yeah it's just not for me. Feel the world building stuff with a lot of hints about big stuff (time travel is the one I'm most curious about) but don't think I can get through the second cour.
