Missed opportunity with not calling it minecraft.world, though I imagine that has probably already been taken lol

It seems to be available actually. I suppose they could use it if they wanted but I'm not sure how much it costs.

Copyright does not protect names, titles, slogans, or short phrases. In some cases, these things may be protected as trademarks.

Still a good point, might be an issue to use that domain.

I think the lemmy.world mods would rather keep their arms and legs, instead of using them to pay for a premium minecraft domain lol
