Yeah, the whole reference to another person is quite terrible. However in this case, it's warranted. Ol' Musky Boy hates the fact that he has a trans daughter. It's like sticking a knfe in Ol' Musky Boy and twisting it.
Eh, idk if some guy hating their trans daughter makes it worth basing most mentions of her around said guy. I mean, obviously how she feels should be taken into account. I am not one to speak for her. But I wouldn't do evil onto someone to do evil onto someone else. Not sure I vibe with "it's quite terrible, but justified cuz it hurts someone else" (even if said someone is bad). Especially when it involves doing evil to someone distancing themselves from the other person in some way. Maybe it'd be different if they were complicit
