I print off a calendar for the year, creating a shorthand note on my current aims, I scribble in the shorthand on the calendar on what I want to do for the week and check it off as I go. Staying on top of my hydration and a healthy dose of “Doing less is doing more” has made me as productive as I can be with no prescription assistance. Best thing you can do is build a personalized toolkit with a legitimate adhd book.
I'm not sure to understand this sentence. Could you clarify it, please ?
The book I’m making my way through is called “How to ADHD by Jessica Mccabe.” It has plenty of real world situations that ADHD people deal with, and multiple ways to cope. The main thing they advise you to do is keep a list of the things you try that work for you. It becomes a “toolkit” you can reference when you’re frustrated or confused on how to approach different problems. I know I have to look at mine quit a lot.
Ohh
Thank you for sharing!
Jessica is such a great person and educator.
She is actually more commonly known for her YouTube channel. (Search "How to ADHD"). She has A LOT of content there and her book is basically the paper version of her videos and insights.
