Ex co-worker says her manager is ignoring her. He literally sits next to her. Jesus christ.

Absolutely. It's a terrible way to treat someone.
Someone treats me like that at work. I ignore her now and never help her if she wants anything because thatβs the only time she talks to me.
Made it quite clear a few years ago, when we were breaking up for holidays and she says good bye the the two people either side of me and I complain quietly to the group and one of the group yells out to her to say good bye to me as well.
That's utterly repugnant behaviour for an adult.
Agreed, unfortunately people like that exist all over.
