i just used a dropper to drip a drop. I was trying to get the shmutz UNDER the button to clean up a bit because I have to press them at awkward angles multiple times to turn it on/off and volume up.
I’m a little sad but to be honest the only thing I’ve used more than this lil’ guy is my 3DS. It just sucks that of everything that could happen to it, me trying to clean it is what (potentially) ruined it.
While it won't help you this time. There's a spray cleaner called bw100. You can use to spray under buttons and things. Fixed a lot of drift issues without having to take the controller apart. Sorry for your steam deck hopefully you can't really see it when the screen is on.
