For me Lemmy was my gateway to the rest of the Fediverse. I can say I like Lemmy way more than I ever did Reddit. The people are nicer the engagement feels more real and over all it’s a better vibe. Here’s to 2 more everyone!

What makes it better and what were these recent updates? Genuinely curious. I hope there is more than one dev, lest it go the way of mbin or kbin, forgot which one was abandoned.

it was kbin, the first one i registered on because it played nicely mastodon too, and i thought it would be nice to have less tabs permanently open.

now i have accounts on mastodon, dbzer0's lemmy, piefed, pixelfed and even friendica goddamnit it's like collecting pokemon

I was kind of surprised to find so many that were banned and denied even their appeals. I chose not to appeal because it was obviously they were power addled assholes.

i wasnt radical enough in a comment for .ml and discussed a bit, so it was fully deserved! you cant have different political views than the mods!
