I had a fake credit card account opened for me by Wells Fargo. It caused me to accidentally transfer money to the wrong account (from savings to the credit card), so I tried moving the -$10 from the credit card to my checking account, and then I was charged a cash advance fee, and then an overdraft fee. The class action settlement money didn't even cover one of the fees ๐Ÿ™ƒ

A) This should have be resolved with prison time. They knew what they were doing.

B) If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and switch to a credit union. They are a thousand times better.

Agreed. A pox on every bank that charges a ~~monthly service fee~~ ~~a low balance fee~~ a poverty tax.

My last credit union charged me an inactivity fee. Listen, my fault, but lets not pretend its a different breed. Its a less influential breed, and usually more financially beneficial to us poors.

To be clear for us here in the US yea credit union greater than bank. But you still need to be aware and watch fees and shop around.
