Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.

That's it.

Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.

If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.

Rule 8- All comments should try to stay relevant to their parent content.

Rule 9- Reposts from other platforms are not allowed.

Let everyone have their own content.

Boo-boo, I’m a trans man. Telling me that being trans is homophobic is not the move.

Radicalized theories of transgender identity also now serve to promote the idea that gender and sexuality are not only different, but unconnected. In one narrow sense, there is some basis to this: All men are not sexually attracted to women, and vice versa—which is why separating desire from gender is important. But it’s one thing to say that your gender doesn’t predict who you will be sexually attracted to (which is true), and quite another to say that gender has absolutely nothing to do with sexuality, which (as I will illustrate by way of autobiography later in this essay) is false.

Holy shit, they gave this dumbass a PhD?

Amazing that your same source (different author) has an article praising John Money. The guy who made David Reimer pretend to have sex with his brother to convince him that he was a girl. That’s fascinating - usually “TERFs” like to bring up Money to condemn “the trans movement.”

Telling me that being trans is homophobic is not the move.

I didn't tell you that, but good try.

I said that many of the "trans rights" and trans ideologies are distinctly anti-gay, due to what I pointed out - "genital preferences" and so on.

Gay = Same SEX attraction. Nothing else. "Gender identity" plays no part in it. No matter what gender you identify as, if you are a FEMALE a gay man will not be attracted to you. Saying that if they won't date you because of your sex/genitals makes them transphobic is homophobic.

Idk, the guys blowing up my phone on Grindr right now seem pretty attracted. Chubby bears with hella body hair are a prime currency in the gay world, let me tell you.

Like, you know one believes that “trans people are conversion therapy” or “genital preferences” shit IRL right? Most people are ya know, normal. Everyone has preferences for who they feel like dating, whatever.

Some gay guys haven’t been interested because of my equipment; other guys have been very eager; most are in the middle. I don’t share dick pics without consent, but I can tell you my little soldier is pretty impressive when he stands for attention.

Like again, you’ve wriggled your way so far away from even trying to make a point. See, at least TERFs can be convincing with the claims of being feminists. This is such a transparent ass pull; you don’t actually give a shit about homophobia.

[–] FreedomAdvocate@lemmy.net.au 1 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Online dating apps are irrelevant. When they find out you're biologically female they will lose all interest if they're gay males.

This is such a transparent ass pull; you don’t actually give a shit about homophobia.

100% incorrect. The current "trans rights" push comes at the expense of gay rights, as I have said and as I have pointed out specific examples of. Women's rights have come at the expense of "trans rights" as well. When you're taking away someone elses rights because you think you deserve more rights, you're on the wrong path.

You are assuming that I haven’t already completed the act. I’m not going to bore you with the details of my hot sweaty mansex, unless that’s something you’re into. (Tbh, this wouldn’t be the place.)

Yeah, your second paragraph isn’t even a thought. You’re stringing together buzzwords and catchphrases like a parrot. You’re not going to manage to play a convincing feminist dumbass.

[–] FreedomAdvocate@lemmy.net.au 0 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Gay men aren't sexually attracted to females. Any men you're sleeping with aren't homosexual men.

You’re not going to manage to play a convincing feminist dumbass.

Your inability to string together a competent counter argument doesn't make me a dumbass.

[–] andros_rex@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

If you want dick pics just ask me nicely.

[–] FreedomAdvocate@lemmy.net.au 0 points 6 hours ago* (last edited 6 hours ago) (1 children)

I definitely don't, but thanks I guess. I can look at my own forearm skin still on my arm if I want.

As a trans man, any men you sleep with are not homosexuals unless they're using you as a type of beard, because homosexuals are same sex attracted men. Your sex is not male.

[–] andros_rex@lemmy.world 1 points 38 minutes ago

It’s cute that you assume I had surgery.

Yeah, gay men sure do appreciate my beard. I’ve been too lazy to trim for a bit, thanks for the reminder.
