In Canada, a minimum of 6' away from the door unless you want a fine.
It's only 6' in Canada? It's 50' in the US.
Of course nobody actually enforces it, so it's effectively nothing, but still...
It's 25' in Virginia and that's for hospitals and schools, maybe there's a distance a business could enforce but honestly probably literally outside the doorframe is all they can do most places.
I would love to see someone get fined for that. I wonder if anyone ever has.
