Agreed. I buy it as an emergency bag. It's good for not getting kicked everywhere, but has strong odour and isn't cheap.

Ew. I like the pine pellets, they turn into sawdust when they get wet and absorb smells well. Bit noisy but that's ok.

include a shifting litter tray and you can reduce your litter usage as well.

I think I'll steer clear of that.

At the moment I'm using "World's Best" cat litter which is made from corn and very low odour and Miss Meow seems happy with. I tried a tofu based one but Mr Woof thought it was a great snack.
