Sometimes when I wake up in the middle of a anxiety dream I grab a soft blanket and wrap it around me and lie on the floor with my legs up on the bed. And I lie there and breathe. It lets your back really flatten out and stretch and helps me feel attached to the ground. Sometimes I literally also touch the bark of one of the gum trees on the way to the train station after a particularly bad night. YMMV so just putting it out there. Anxiety dreams SUCK especially when you wake up in the middle before your brain has finished filing whatever it is its trying to file. Go gently today.

Aw man, thanks for such a nice message. The day turned out alright - probably because I remembered to have breakfast as well. I think my brain managed to process most of what it needed to. I've been very much out in nature today for work and it's been a productive one where I didn't feel like I needed to push myself too hard, so that was good!

The real anxiety nightmare is going to be in the weeks to come...
