"Ted" is short for "Theodore," not "Edward."
EDIT: I stand corrected.

Oh, okay, I've never known any Edwards who use "Ted." One of those weird things like William -> Bill or Richard -> Dick, I guess.
Just to note, I'm in no way backing Cruz, he's a deplorable waste of space. Fuck em.

I like to call Theodores "Odor". It's right there in the name!
