I found the sheets I have are not very generous with sizing for the flat sheets either, there was not enough fabric to actually tuck under at the top or bottom of the mattress. If it is an issue I will sew an extra length of fabric on to allow tucking, but so far it has stayed on well anyway.
Yeah, tucking does depend a bit on how much 'vigorous exercise' happens too.
Well, not much from me. Mr Woof sometimes gets a bit enthusiastic in his rolling around and he's been known to rip the doona off the bed to show dominance to passing delivery people, but so far the sheet has escaped unscathed ๐คฃ
