Iโ€™d like to join you guys on your side of the pond, but i need to look for an in. Im willing to figure out the legalities, etc, but first and foremost Iโ€™d need a job. Do you guys have any suggestions for job boards to use that focus on EU countries? Specific focus in the technical field is a plus.

The good thing is that the EU has a lot of different governments. Some will be more open to give out work visas.

Portugal seems to be an easy one to get into.

From a quick search, Portugal offers a job seeker visa of 120 days, which can be extended by another 60 days.

Once you have Schengen D visa, you can go anywhere in the EU.

Most of our immigrants come through family reunification or refugee status.

work visa might be more complicated because you don't have someone in the country paying for your cost of living (or taxes doing it in case of being a refugee, atleast in theory, there's plenty of homeless people in Brussels).

i'm probably being overly cautious, good luck researching the subject.
