I did not think about the fact that I will probably live a few decades after his death. It will be interesting to see how he will be know to people who did not endure him

The craziest thing, unless he becomes a king or starts WW3 against Iran or China, i believe we will forget him like we forgot all other assholes that made people's lives miserable. Only OG gangstas like ucle Adi, ucle Josif, uncle Mao stay in permanent memory.

"endure" does seem like the most appropriate verb to use there.

I am not a native speaker. I meant it like "to survive something difficult". https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/endure
