I still can’t figure out what was jaw dropping; Joly didn’t say anything that Americans shouldn’t already know. Amanpour’s performance seemed a bit contrived and aggressive to me, which isn’t what I usually expect from her.

@adespoton@lemmy.ca Yeah, agree, I'm beginning to see more and more of these clickbait titles. Honestly, it is what grabbed me — but a point I'd like to make is I find both to be contrived. I find Minister Joly to have been like this from the start. Seems so defensive, IMHO. Rumour is that she and Justin are an item …

It’s madness. Between her:

A) “Well, we all think it’s a joke and you shouldn’t be bothered by it. Why don’t you think it’s funny? We can say he’s talking shit because it isn’t a threat to us, but also, what are you going to do to stop him?”

b) “I just can’t believe you’re being attacked by such a good friend. My gosh. That’s awful. My jaw has dropped who could have stopped such a thing?!”
