Just thought it would be cool to have a thing on Matrix for this community as well. There's a discord server, but you have to have your phone number attached to your account to be there now

There used to be a bridge allowing Matrix users to join IRC channels on Libera, but it was shut down in 2023. People have made bridges for specific channels, but it looks to be a bit of a hassle to run one. If there's an existing bridge that allows arbitrary channels to participate, I imagine an arrangement could be made.
