AMD supports ray tracing. What’s your build? I just finished my new all AMD build as well Monday.

Oh I know it supports it, just huge performance hits compared to Nvidia. I just turned it on last night for the first time and everything worked great! 3 hours of updating and configuring later and I got to play Starfield for 20 min before bed haha.

I feel like I went higher end which is a first since I normally do mid range but weirdly enough it appears as if most stuff I purchased is mid range according to online? Here is my part list:

Case - Fractal Meshify 2 XL Mobo - Asus rog strix x670e-f CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d RAM - 32GB (16gbx2) Crucial Vengeance DDR5 6400 GPU - AMD Rx 7800 XT Sapphire Nitro HD - 1TB Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus-G for OS and another 2TB one for games, also a 10tb Seagate drive for storage PSU - EVGA Supernova 1000 gt, 80 plus gold, 1000W CPU cooler - Noctua NH-U14S with 140mm fan Fans - decided to replace stock case fans with 4 Noctua 140mm ones because I really did love my last build were I used 1 of their fans. Sure people think they look ugly but I don't care for RGB and don't display inside anyway. All I can say is wow they are the quietest fans I've ever heard.

Last build was 2016 with an i5 cpu and rx 480 gpu for comparison.
