Summary

FDA scientists have been instructed to avoid using words like "woman," "disabled," and "elderly" in external communications, per a leaked list circulating within the agency.

The directive, reportedly linked to Trump’s executive order against "gender ideology," has caused confusion and concern.

The White House denies most words are banned but confirms restrictions on terms related to gender and diversity.

Scientists fear these limits will hinder medical research and public health efforts.

I mean I feel like we're paying attention to that too? I mean we can read more than one kind of article in a day. Everything you said seems pretty well understood to me

Sure, we understand it. We're getting non-algorithmic news that isn't covered in sports or celebrity bullshit. The average American, I assure you, doesn't know anything about this stuff. Most of the people I talk to in regular life about this stuff haven't even heard of project 2025. Did you see how many people googled "did Biden drop out?" on election day?

The average person is poorly informed and dumbass stuff like -Red White And Blueland- or -turn Gaza into the Riviera of the middle east- are what they hear about, if even that. These, while horrifying, are the distractions to the real game of dictatorship and wealth transfer to the richest of the rich.

Whether you call it "flood the zone" or "firehose of bullshit" it's what they're doing and it's working very well.
