Mail In Rebates
The date given for a Mail In Rebate is the date the item must be purchased by. It must be postmarked (basically stamped / mailed by Canada Post) within ~30 days[1] from the purchase date.

I can see the appeal but I think it could make this place a target for getting lots of spam/marketing stuff. I don't want this place to be flooded with tons of tiny indie company putting on a 10% sale specifically so as to post here. It might be too small for that now, but it might not be like that forever.
That's a very good point. Do you think we should also stay away from free promos (aside from big game on epic games shared on the subreddit)?
