First I've heard of this, but it wouldn't surprise me
Chip butties are amazing. Some pubs back in the day used to serve chip barms for free.
Regional, but I think it's dying off as some people take offence at it.
Only every other Sunday
INNNNGGERRRRLLAAAAAANNNNDDDD
slaps knees RIGHT!
I think I've heard this is a German thing too?
This is so true! Thanks so much by the way for sharing this list, much appreciated.
Yes. At first I thought it was bonkers because normally you receive gifts on your birthday, not give them out for everyone else! But it would get costly and fatty if everyone brought cakes in for one persons birthday.
"Alright mate, cheers, yep... cheers mate, see ya, yeah have a good day now, cheers mate, bye, bye"
It definitely is!
schlägt auf die Knie SO!
so</German accent>
Truth!
Soppy shite.
Woosh?
“… very rude to people they love.”
Duck or Ducky seems fine in Notts, how could be offended by that? I also like it because it's gender neutral. I might refer to blokes that run shops and takeaways as boss or bossman though. It's a bit London but I think it's kinda charming.
