I was always told not to heat anything liquid in the air fryer because of steam going up and interfering with the fan and the electronics behind the buttons that are typically at the top of an air fryer...

I suspect a number could do with a steam clean given the fat residue that goes the same route.

@wewbull Real talk, our air fryer is proving to be as much of a PITA to clean as a real fryer
