Yeah, listen I get it, this is a decent argument on the surface. It falls apart pretty quick when you start trying to answer it, though. For example, It is trivially easy (well, for a given value of "trivially easy") to confirm this story from disclosed telemetry data and mission info that was available prior to this livestream.
Good question - there are numerous independent 3rd party sites, many of which are skeptic or believer aligned and extremely reputable, that automatically archive any nasa data that is published. As well, there's ample reporting on these missions ahead of time on space news sites.
Then mr. Convenient Strawman, why oh why would they have the livestream now in the first place? There would have been no need to cut the stream if they knew about it, too, its not hard to just not point cameras at something. ~~Besides, they could have just repurposed the moon landing set and filmed it there if they needed to...~~
(This is aside from the fact that NASA wants to find alien life. We send probes all over looking for evidence of things that are just the precursors to life. It's the fantasy of everyone at NASA for us to make contact with an alien species in their lifetime. It would be the single greatest event in human history. I don't understand why people don't understand this)
