Gaming headsets are overpriced, and poor quality. I personally recommend Beyerdynamics dt pro series, especially 990. They are so good and priced right.
+1 for Beyedynamic. I have a pair of DT 770 Pros that have lasted so long. I use them so much the ear cups went flat, so I just replaced them for like £15 and they're literally as good as new.
OP, if you take one thing away from this thread, make it this: Good audio equipment stays good.
