That seems more "Lemmy.world" than "Lemmy".
And I thought it was established quite some time back that admins there go by what they think laws mean rather than actually consulting a lawyer.
Well yes, but when .world is the biggest instance on Lemmy, it's understandable when people conflate the two.
Part of the problem of people being too used to centralization, and default instances in apps I suppose.
Thank you for links and explanation. It's disappointing to see some mods are going this direction.
