The remasters are set to launch on March 6, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

  • Visual Enhancements: The HD remasters retain the original games' aesthetic while incorporating modern enhancements such as improved pixel art animations and background illustrations.
  • Sound Improvements: New environmental sound effects and HD battle sound effects enhance the immersion.
  • Quality of Life Improvements: Features like auto-save functionality, battle fast forward, and a conversation log are included to improve gameplay experience.

I'm just concerned that I simply won't have the time anymore.

I played 3 and 4 and am confident that I understood nothing and it needs more games to finish the plot even if you collect all of the Pokemans

The first Suikoden is on the shorter side, at least. Should be able to get through it in 25 hours or less.

At this point I’ll be happy to get one completed play through of 1. Every time I’ve started the game and gotten to the army battles something destroys my save file and I have to start over. I stopped trying to emulate it bc of how much of a pain it became.
