When I tried it out it was slooowww. GUI designers should focus on making software usable, not "sleek"

No. In GitHub they say Mastodon /pleroma and misskey and hope to add more.
I like how it shows the POST first pretty cool
Sorry i don't understand what you mean. Images didn't load for me since my net is really sluggish recently so if you're referring to something in them i didn't see it.
