Bit of Column A and Column B.

Israeli fans were being belligerent. There are videos of them chanting slurs towards Palestinians, tearing down Palestinian flags, etc.

Not saying the violence they received in turn is justified, but I think the "antisemitic" motivations may be just a bit overblown, though not necessarily nonexistent.
