Bit of a tangent, but this pains me every time I read this in threads.
I wanted to join Lemmy after the Reddit exodus, found out that ml was "the main one" made by the devs and joined it. Last time I carefully tried to pick an instance was Mastodon, and I hardly ever found any content. Decided to check back in the other day, and every account except for the admin's (like less than 50) was removed for inactivity.
I'm not some far-right or Russian troll, but because most of them are on that instance everyone on it gets this reputation.

If your "gotcha" is you prefer the genocide to get worse to "teach people a lesson", you need to do some introspection as well.
No, I heard your gotcha. But the reality is standing to the side telling people "I told you so" is just sticking your head in the sand. You are enabling a worse genocide just for the sake of moral masturbation.
You might as well tell the people feeding the homeless they are "accepting homelessness" as well. Amounts to the same bullshit logic.
But when Trump enables a full scale genocide, you can pay yourself on the back and say "I had nothing to do with that".
I have no trouble sleeping, as I have been consistently against genocide and demanded better. It was y'all who took the gamble and lost.

I too have been consistently against genocide, I have protested, I have called senators, I have donated time, money, medical supplies, and food.
I didn't gamble and lose, I fought the best I can, and will continue to do so.
I hope you do more than "demand better", because all your demands amount to is pissing down the backs of Palestinians and telling them it's raining.
