Claimed to be a Russian FPV anti-drone with machine vision and auto-targeting.

Evolutionarily, this is an expected solution. All UAV countermeasures will evolve towards the physical destruction of targets, rather than suppression, as only this is guaranteed to neutralize the threat.

The big question is whether the semi-autonomous system really works on the videos shown, or it is more propaganda, but the fact that we need to invest much more in the development of our unmanned technologies is a fact.

The state should initiate this in working with partners who have a very significant technological potential.

Likely more expensive since you need enough onboard compute to run the computer vision.

That said, it's potentially reusable. The next logical step would be to add some sort of tether that entangles the target drone. Right now, it's just relying on direct impact to knock the other drone out of the sky, but all you really need to do is ensnare the props. That's doable without destroying the hunter drone.
