To join the vegan EU? Don't get me wrong, it's probably the path forward but how would it help rejoining the EU?
Drop transphobia, get workers rights and a better democracy. The house if lords wtf, cannot protest and politicians as a specially excempt class? You can do better.
It would improve the ethics of the country making it more EU worthy.
I suspect the large meat and dairy industry in major EU states would apply some pressure against this.
Cheese law alone is a major part of the EU.
But the EU doesn't care about that when a vountry wants to join?
Not at the moment but veganism and vegetarianism are exploding in growth in Germany. So it may become a requirement at some point to join the European Union.
