In addition to the expropriation of wages through exploitation, Americans massively overpay for domestic citizen labor via economic rent, namely from the financialization of housing and healthcare. Such low pay would buy housing healthcare were its costs not inflated and its costs are inflated through financialization.

Of course, they massively underpay for the undocumented immigrant labor underclass.
