The foreground is Mt Coree with its trig point and fire watch tower.

Took this coming down the mountain from Lovick's Hut, roughly halfway to Bluff Hut, looking west.

The peak at the centre (with cloud hovering over it) is Mt Buller and the one to the right of that (1/4 in from right edge, slightly more cloud) is Mt Stirling.

Love me some Victorian high country.

Just taken with a mobile phone, a Pixel 6a running GrapheneOS and OpenCamera. Blasted the exposure so I could see all the branches.

Taken 20 years ago in the remote Queensland town of Chillagoe. Known for limestone caves, Aboriginal art, nesting sites for the white-rumped swiftlet, and as the final resting place of my Volvo, which never made it home.

A juvenile galah and its parent try to defend their prime spot against a crow who also wants that spot.
