The Stefon Diggs era is over in Buffalo, as the receiver is headed to Houston in exchange for draft picks.

Basically title. It would be nice to have team flairs, if it's possible here

Talk some shit. Fuck the Jets, Cowboys are gonna miss the playoffs, Tua for MVP, Jordan Love is better than Aaron Rodgers at this point, Josh Allen is overrated, Mac Jones sucks, Jared Goff is great, Dan Campbell is the man, etc etc

If your coach doesn’t look like a cattle rancher who also runs a reputable removedhouse and your quarterback got more than 45 minutes of sleep before kickoff, you don’t even know what badassery is.

Any plans to make a game thread similar to r/nfl?

Isaiah Rodgers and Rashod Berry of the Indianapolis Colts and free agent Demetrius Taylor were suspended indefinitely — through at least the 2023 season — for betting on NFL games last season.

In addition, Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere was suspended six games for betting on other sports at the workplace. The four suspensions were announced Thursday by the NFL.

MIAMI -- Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is under investigation on allegations of assault/battery at a Miami Beach marina, a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department said Tuesday.

According to WPLG-TV in Miami, Hill allegedly hit a marina employee during a "disagreement" that took place Sunday. Miami sports radio show host Andy Slater reported that Hill slapped the employee on the back of the head, but that the employee has declined to press charges at this time.

The Dolphins released a statement through a spokesperson, acknowledging the reported incident.

"We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives and the NFL," the Dolphins said in the statement. "We will reserve further comment at this time."

Hill is entering his second season with the Dolphins after spending the first six of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hello to all! Given how unintuitive the search function in Lemmy can be, I wanted to let everyone in the !nfl@lemmy.ml community know about another instance that was created to focus solely on sports. This instance was initially created to discuss baseball but I have added a community for every NFL team as well just to try and get some more participation. I have also added some communities for college football as well.

Please feel free to crosspost any NFL news onto the !nfl@fanaticus.social community and if we can manage to get some participation there I will crosspost things over here as well. Hopefully both of our communities can continue to grow NFL discussion and bring more Reddit refugees to Lemmy.
