Hi, as the title suggests, I'm looking for a 24-inch 4k ips 144hz monitor.

I can only find 27" with these characteristics, do you know if 24" exist? A thousand thanks.

P.s unfortunately many say that the difference is not perceived, in reality I assure you that if in addition to playing video games, you read many documents you will immediately notice the difference.

I was wondering if someone could help me out with this 1st world issue:

I have a main 32" 4K panel and 24" 1080P on the side of that for gaming + twitch/discord.Under my main 32" als stands a 7" panel that is used a a sensor panel using AIDA64.

My question: sometimes i lose my mousepointer, and looking all over my 3 screens to find out its "stuck" somewhere on the sensor panel. Is there a way to have the 7" panel active, but so that my mousepointer can't go there?

I currently have a 32" 4K monitor and my desk depth is about 35" with the keyboard tray slide out.

I'm quite ok with the viewing distance but I want to buy a sit/standing desk and I may have to settle for a desk depth of about 30".

I know my 32" monitor will be too big with the shorter viewing distance so I'm thinking to downsize to 28" 4K.

So know I'm asking myself will I find the 28" 4K too small even with a shorter viewing distance than before ?

Has anyone here did a similar downsizing and was ok with it afterward or should I absoletuly keep my 32" ?

I'm on macos by the way and I rarely game mostly doing surfing the web and watch movies.

Thank you in advance !

Is there anyone who has tried/used this model that can tell me how the input lag is at 60hz?

I wanna buy this for both console gaming and pc-gaming @ 240hz, but i often play Fifa which runs at 60fps on the ps5.

I’ve seen that the non M version has low input lag at 60hz.

Sometimes the M version of different Asus monitors have really high input lag at 60hz(for example the vg259m and vg279m) so i was wondering if this is the case for this monitor aswell?

I recently recieved as gift a 21:9 monitor and i used to have a 16:9 monitor. I play csgo a lot and i use stretch resolution. Now, when i play cs, it stretches over the whole monitor but i want it to stretch only on 1920x1080 instead of the whole monitor if that makes any sense. Is there any way i can do so. Sorry for the bad english, any help is appreciated

Hi!

I recently got my Samsung M8 32” 4K connected to a Mac Mini M2 Pro.

I was disappointed with the colors. The whole screen looked washed out with green tint(Compared to iMac 2011, Macbook Pro 2015, iPad)

I tried different pictures mode, reset factory, software updates, rtings ICC profiles, SmartThings calibration, different PCs, eyeballing. Nothing really worked.

To be clear I don’t do mission critical color work but I just something decent.

Since I am stuck with this monitor. I’m looking for to buy a calibration device like ColorChecker Display Pro or the DataColor Spyder X

Please let me know your thoughts 💭

I connect my gaming laptop (Acer Nitro 5 with Geforce GTX1650) to an external montior (GIGABYTE M27Q, 1440p 144Hz). For the past few days, i've seen these black pixels/boxes flashing onto the screen for a split second. (Happens when using google).

I have a feeling its something to do with my 1650 GPU, as I am using the monitor connected to the 1650 gpu, and laptop display turned off. What could this be an indication of? / Any solutions? Thanks.

Also worth noting: When typing in google search, there is sometimes an input lag (the typed words show up a second late between typing)

I have an LG monitor with a calibration function. I calibrated it using the LG Calibration Studio and the SpyderX calibrator, setting the color gamut to Adobe RGB 1998. The colors seem fine now, but when I opened a file in Photoshop, it appeared as if there was a transparent blue layer over the image.

In the 'View' menu, I checked 'Proof Colors' and changed the proof setup to a custom device profile that simulates the color profile I created during the previous calibration. The colors are now correct once again.

Did I follow the correct steps? Can I trust that the colors I am seeing are accurate? Also, I've noticed that I need to toggle the 'Proof Colors' option every time I open a new file. With my previous Dell monitor, calibrated using the SpyderX software, this never happened. This discrepancy is leaving me somewhat confused.

I would appreciate it if you could provide some guidance. Thank you.

I've had this monitor since Nov. 2022 and am recently having grain or noise issues on the screen (not sure which term is "correct"). (example images attached)

Already Done:

  • Changed cables (from a 10" Insignia DisplayPort cable since July 2023, to an HDMI cable from a different setup).
  • Changed the power location.
  • Updated all my drivers.

I read on another post somewhere that it could potentially be the adapter itself that needs to be replaced (the VG279Q1A has one of those little box adapters and not just a power cable). Anyone know if this is the likely solution?

Anyone else run into this issue in the past with the VG279Q1A? Or another ASUS monitor? Did you solve the issue? Or is this a "sucks to suck, get a new monitor" issue?

Thanks in advance for ideas and help. Really crossing my fingers over here that I don't have to buy an entirely new monitor...

(just a heads up: double-posted to the r/ASUS*, though I don't see a rule about double-dipping so I hope it's okay!)*

I’ve had a 170 hrtz monitor for awhile but I think I’ve accidentally kept it at 60 this entire time. I went to control panel to fix it but it only says the resolution I have can only do 60 hrtz. I watched a video and it said I have to go to the change resolution tab and put on one of the PC ones but none of them work or let me do it. Idk what to do but I can’t find anything on it. And yea I’m using a DP. And whenever I switch to HDMI it goes up to 144 hrtz

I broke the led backlight that the monitor has and I been struggling to find an exact match for it. Should I use a universal led backlight? I’ll take any recommendations. Thank you

This is basically all I do with my life and if possible I'd like to do it in a single monitor to save space and money:

  • Competitive FPS (VALORANT and CS:GO): 240hz+, 1080p, low response time and input lag and so on. 1080
  • Reading/Coding: fonts should be clear, not blurry. For referece, I find MacBooks's display absolutely perfect for this
  • Watching Videos: YouTube

Not really concerned about price

I have an Acer xb270hu, bought it second hand maybe like 3 years ago. It's finally giving out on me, sometimes half the screen would get these green lines that go through it vertically wherever there should be black. This happens after approximately 10 minutes of use. Recently it started having similar issue on the other half but with other colors getting stuck on the screen. Because it only happens after some use and not on boot, I'm led to believe that it is a cooling issue and or maybe something might be loose.

I was wondering firstly if anybody could tell me or help me open the back panel so I can take a look around and secondly if anybody had any ideas or tips. I appreciate any help, thank you

So I have been having this problem between both of my monitors. I noticed that my second monitor is wayy more vibrant than my main monitor (Monitor 1). And everytime I try to up the vibrance on my main monitor (Monitor 1) it would stay the same vibrance, but when I up the vibrance on my second monitor it would increase dramatically the way I would want it to on my main. Does in one know why this happens? Please help!

So I have a Samsung Odyssey Curved Monitor and I want to use an adjustable monitor stand instead of the one provided in the box. What is an excellent adjustable monitor stand that I could get that would be compatible with the monitor?
